We are so privileged and proud to announce that Lynn Isvik, PBL Adviser at Upper Iowa University, has been appointed to the FBLA-PBL National Board of Directors!

Lynn received a phone call today from Jean Buckley, FBLA-PBL President/CEO, with the news that she has been appointed to a 3-year term. Lynn will sit on the committee making many important decisions for the future of our organization. She will begin her term at the January 2010 Board of Directors meeting.
Lynn Isvik holds a B.S. in Horticulture from Iowa State University and an MBA from Washington University in St. Louis. She taught Horticulture at North Iowa Area Community College from 1977 – 1983, and taught management, marketing, and business communications as an adjunct at IVY Tech State College and University of Southern Indiana in Evansville, IN from 1996 – 1998. She joined the full-time faculty at Upper Iowa University (UIU) in Fayette, IA in 1998. She currently teaches a variety of business and technology classes, and also serves as Chair of the Business Division. From 1988 to 1998, she worked in a corporate environment, first at Computer Sales International in St. Louis, MO (1988 – 1991) and then at American General Finance in Evansville, IN (1991 – 1998). She has been a member of the North American Management Society (NAMS) since 1999 and serves as a reviewer for the Journal of the NAMS. Lynn has been an active adviser at Upper Iowa University since 2000 and has been recognized as Outstanding Local Chapter Adviser three times since 2001. She is also a member of the Iowa PBL State Committee. |
