Iowa Phi Beta Lamba

During SLC, conference registration will end 30 minutes prior to the beginning of student events, just as it did last year.  Please be on time for registration!  We will not allow students arriving late to take extra time on competitive events or reschedule events missed.

We will again be assigning advisers to timing and proctoring roles for oral events in advance.  Be on the lookout for requests coming your way in February.

Again this year, all students, not just voting delegates, will be provided lunch on Saturday.  After a brief luncheon, the voting delegates will have the opportunity to ask questions of the candidates.  Other members may stay and observe but are not allowed to ask questions.

There are generally parking restrictions that chapters must be aware of.  As the conference gets closer, there will be updates posted to this area about where to park.  HOWEVER:  Understand that by booking at room at the Iowa House, you are provided free parking.  Events take place a short walk from the hotel, so there will be no need to find campus parking in this case!  Maps of campus can be printed here: http://www.uiowa.edu/homepage/hub/tours.html
