June 29, 2009 - NLC Event Winners
Several Iowa PBL members who attended and competed at the National Leadership Conference in Anaheim were recognized for their superior achievement. A total of 12 students in 9 events were recognized on stage for placing 10th or higher. A full listing of events and winners can be found here.

January 19, 2008 - Essential SLC information and documents
The 2009 State Leadership Conference is coming up fast! The registration deadline is Friday, February 13, 2009 at 11:45 p.m. Check out the Registration Procedures
to aid in getting students, advisers, and guests registered for the SLC. The Competitive Events List and Guidelines
will give you an idea of what to expect for each event. For descriptions and the rating system for state events, check out the State Event Guidelines.
The Master Registration
document includes information on hotel accomodations, what to expect when running for a state office, State Officer duties, and a description of the events at the SLC. The 2009 SLC Schedule

The Iowa State Fall Leadership Conference was held this year at Upper Iowa University in Fayette, IA. The conference began early on Friday with an officer meeting in the Andres Center. Technology is a wonderful thing. Organization, time management and connectivity are all improved by the use of certain technologies. Graphing calculators and 10 keys will be invaluable to those of you venturing into the world of accounting. Microsoft Office's Excel is a powerful database program. I am not involved with accounting, yet all three of these tools have helped me when using math with work (See Full Article).
